- 929 Grands Prix have been contested since 1949; the equivalent of 3114 races across all categories.

- To date, there have been 117 World Champions, with the record still held by Giacomo Agostini with 13 titles ahead of Mike Hailwood (9), Valentino Rossi (9) and Carlo Ubbiali (9).

- 372 different riders have stood on the top step of the podium. Giacomo Agostini leads the way with 122 wins, followed by Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) with 115 victories, 90 for Angel Nieto, 76 for Mike Hailwood and 73 for Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team).

- Of these 372 winners, 111 have tasted GP success just once, with the latest being Danilo Petrucci (Mission Winnow Ducati) a fortnight ago at Mugello.

- A total of 718 riders have finished inside the top three across all categories. Valentino Rossi has been on the podium 234 times, a huge 75 more than Giacomo Agostini’s 159 podium visits, followed by Dani Pedrosa on 153, Jorge Lorenzo (Repsol Honda Team) 152 and Angel Nieto 139.

- 29 different nationalities have triumphed. Italy leads the way with 811 victories ahead of Spain (609), Great Britain (383), Germany (191)* and Australia (180).
