Quartararo heads Marquez, Pasini on Saturday morning

Frenchman leads the way by less than a tenth ahead of qualifying in the intermediate class

MB Conveyors – Speed Up’s Fabio Quartararo ends Free Practice in the Moto2™ class at the PTT Thailand Grand Prix fastest after setting a 1:36.670, enough to beat Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) by 0.070 seconds heading into qualifying, with Friday’s frontman Mattia Pasini (Italtrans Racing Team) completing the top three.

After finishing sixth quickest on Friday, Augusto Fernandez (Pons HP40) went quicker on Saturday morning to jump up to fourth on the combined timesheets at the Chang International Circuit, finishing 0.050 ahead of teammate Lorenzo Baldassarri in fifth. Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) leads teammate and title contender Miguel Oliveira, P6 and P7 for the duo respectively, with Championship leader Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) failing to improve his Friday time in FP3 – P9 overall for the Italian.

Sam Lowes (Swiss Innovative Investors) crashed during FP3 at Turn 1 – rider ok.
