HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France: let the countdown begin!

Presentation in Paris attended by Zarco, Iannone, Quartararo and Danilo

The HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France is going to be kicking off in 60 days, and the presentation ahead of the event took place on Wednesday in Paris. On the banks of the Seine, the event was attended by home heroes Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3), Fabio Quartararo (Beta Tools Speed Up Racing) and Jules Danilo (Nashi Argan SAG Team), as well as Team Suzuki Ecstar’s Andrea Iannone.

The 2017 weekend had more than 100,000 people stream into the Bugatti circuit, and Zarco is looking forward to the next edition after his incredible podium last season.

“In 2017, the weekend was incredible, but it wasn’t easy to manage,” says the two-time Moto2™ Champion and Qatar GP polesitter. “Arriving at full power makes us want to attack even more! After my crash on Saturday morning I wasn’t great, but I relaxed and the result was a front row start and the podium. The French GP was a good lesson.

The win at Le Mans would be amazing, and if I win before, even better. The situation is different compared to last year. I am much more competitive from the first race. Despite a problem with the tyre in the first race, I was in front. That just postponed it…but you shouldn’t just focus only on victory, the target eventually is to fight for the title. And to have a chance of that happening, you have to win races. But step by step, we’re living a dream.”
