#StatAttack: Moto3™ gear up for Germany

A few stats on the lightweight field at the Sachsenring - and the season so far

- At the Dutch TT Arón Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) won for the second time in his career. This is the 40th victory for a Spanish rider in Moto3™ since 2012 (the most successful nation in front of Italy with 16 Moto3™ wins).

- Canet qualified in third on the grid in Sachsenring last year and crossed the line in 15th in wet conditions.

- Romano Fenati (Marinelli Rivacold Snipers) crossed the line in second in Assen; his 19th podium in the Moto3™ class so far, behind Brad Binder and Luis Salom (20). He crossed the line in 18th from 17th on the grid last year at the Sachsenring in what it was his last race of the season.

- John McPhee (British Talent Team) completed the podium in Assen, his best result since he was second across the line in Argentina earlier this year.

- Championship leader Joan Mir (Leopard Racing) was ninth in the Netherlands, his worst finishing result since Motegi last year.

- Mir and Andrea Migno (Sky Racing Team VR46) are the only riders who have scored points in every race this season.

- The Dutch TT was the seventh all-Honda podium this season in the Moto3™ class.

- Enea Bastianini (Estrella Galicia 0,0) is the only Moto3™ rider who has qualified on pole at the Sachsenring and not won the race. He is also the only rider on the current Moto3™ grid to have stood on the podium at this track (2015 and 2016).

- There have always been different winners at the Sachsenring since the introduction of the Moto3™ category in 2012: Cortese, Rins, Miller, Kent and Pawi

- Honda riders have won the last two Moto3™ races at this track.

- Brad Binder last year in Phillip Island is the last Moto3™ rider to have won from pole position.

- Sandro Cortese is the last German rider to have won at this track in the lightweight category.
